So I’ll give you a brief overview of the project, at the moment I run ableton with a APC to trigger my samples + run a sound card to put vocals and guitars through.

Anyway I need a back up for live performances incase the laptop/interface craps out on me.

From my research the MPC one or live seem like the perfect solution but have a few questions.

1. Some of my samples may run for 60+ seconds before looping, is this possible with the MPC
2. How many samples can play at the same time, at a minimum I need, Kick, snare, overheads, bass, synth x 3, so that will be 7 samples playing at the same time.
3. Could I run a mono guitar and a vocal through at the same time?
4. Which model of the MPC would be best for me?

Okay so I picked up an mk3 mini, not knowing how to do anything musical on the computer, and I'm trying to figure out how to make some music. Videos I've found are all very descriptive, but the don't get basic enough, I can't even make this thing make sounds, let alone record them lol. I'm a guitar player/singer and I want to break into making beats, and electronic music. Any one able to share some insight on how I can get going with this?

I am considering buying an MPC One to produce my beats (hip hop, trap, and boom bap). I have been using Ableton for years and have a good workflow, and I wanted to know if you think it's worth it. Also, in terms of plugins and VSTs, what are the pros and cons?

Question, I've seen that MPC 2 has released as software. I have an MPC X and i currently have just MPC software on my computer, am i entitled to MPC 2 for free, or do i have to purchase?

Hello there,

after many years I picked up my MPK mini MKII again and I wanted to set the pads. Thought I might be able to do this directly on the device, but seems like I need to do this on a Mac/PC with the Editor app.

I downloaded the Editor on the product page, but it crashes non-stop and I guess it’s not compatible with M1 macs. I hoped I might be able to do this with the Beats app, but I didn’t find the option.

Is there any way to set the pads with a currently supported Mac software?

Hello, I purchased an expansion that I received a link for in email. When I click the link, it takes me to the website to enter my email. When I enter it, I get emailed the same link to go right back and do it over again. Anyone know the fix? Been looking online for a while.
