That's not ironic. That's not ironic at all. Of all the places I'd expect a collision to occur, I'd be least surprised to find out one occurred near a driving instructor. The people needing a driving instructor generally aren't good at driving.

Edited to add: OP has added context to the situation here, https://sh.itjust.works/comment/18347533

Depends on your country.

Where I live you have to take 35 ( 45 min long ) driving lessons from a driving instructor and then you are able to apply for a test for a driving license.

And if you fail you have to do 5 more each failure, so getting a drviving license here costs at minimum 1.4k euro up to how many times you fail ( each failure will cost you another 175 euro )

I have to disagree. Granted, those learning to drive are likely less skilled than those who have passed their tests already. However, the majority of crashes involve people who have already passed. Learners tend to be more careful and drive more slowly than more experienced drivers. Learners also have an instructor present who can use the dual pedal controls in the instructor car to stop something like this from happening.

So whilst you might think a more experienced driver would be less likely to crash, remember, this car was not being driven by a learner and more experienced drivers are less likely to pass driving tests, since they develop bad habits like not using indicators, becoming overconfident and bending or breaking rules, more likely to speed and as stated beforez are far more likely to crash or be caught in one than a learner.

I don't know how it is organized in your place, but here, some practice hours are neccessary for the license.
