They didn't really "pay" that. At least not the whole cost. They still have the coin, and that's theoretically worth money (in this world where theoretical money is worth real world dollars). I wonder if there will be a big sell off immediately or if they'll try to dump slowly to not embarrass the dear leader. Or maybe they'll hold for their cut on all the corruption.
