Because there are plenty of real life or death issues Trump is squarely on the wrong side of and can and should be attacked on.

so instaed, Muricans excuse trump like this, repeat to themselves "we are not there yet", and bravely sit down again

You say criticising the smaller stuff is a waste of time... I think that is just an excuse to wait for the bigger stuff but most just keep moving that goal post until it's too late for criticism to have any effect
