I usually use epoxy or 3M double sided adhesive tabs. This time the holes in the model I downloaded ended up being undersized, so heat setting seemed like a good plan. Guess not.

So, found out the hard way that you can't apply heat to neodymium magnets. Had 16 magnets to press into a print (tool holder). Thought since the soldering pen I use for inserting threaded nuts into prints works so well, I would use it for this too. And it did work well, but now all the magnets are not magnets any more. Yup, heat will demagnetize them. Part is useless, so had to trash it. Found out something new, but wish I had heard about this beforehand.

So this lady is just looking for a bigger, better vibrator? Might solve a few problems...

Definitely stressful, my dad had been a controller in the USAF. It's where he learned to drink heavily when off duty. Of course, they were stationed in Greenland, so there wasn't anything else to do.

Exactly what I thought when I saw the pic. Dude's definitely gonna drop it before he gets 20 steps.

Estwing 22oz smooth faced ripping/framing hammer. Bought one about 30 years ago when I was doing roofing and framing work. Still use it all the time. Comfortable and durable, great for construction and demolition work. Does a nice job digging out stubborn nails. If I could only have one hammer in my tool bag, that's what it would be.

Having to promote it as "rape oil" would be a marketing department's nightmare.

“Voters should decide who our primary nominees are, not DNC leadership.” Since when has the DNC not put it's thumb on the scales in the past few decades, or ignored the voters entirely?

I like the look, but at $600 per 25lb bag (enough for 1/3 acre) I'll have to look at other options. I know my local feed and seed sells clover, which is part of the fleur mix, and it wouldn't be that expensive. My yard really could use another seeding of white clover, which was the only one that did well with our clay soil.

Yes, good science is repeatable and reproducible. Go forth and expand our knowledge.

Don Hertzfeldt's final student film, BILLY'S BALLOON was shot on 16mm at UC Santa Barbara in 1998. It was nominated for the Short Film Palm D'Or at the Canne...

There's nothing fun about 4:30 in the morning.

Sounds like he's doing ok.

I love that having a 3d printer means you can create custom parts when you need them. I wanted a set of leveling brackets for a router table insert. Sketched up something in Solid Edge, sent it to the printer and a few hours later I have what I need. Nothing complex but functional. Used PETG on this set.

Probably the one thing they didn't plan on going wrong.

When you roll a 1 on the Stealth check.

I was looking at the settings for Connect, hit "Save Settings" before closing, and now some of my phone's default colors have changed. I have lime green and mint for random text in different applications. Using a Google Pixel 7 Pro. Anyone else notice this?
