Can you provide an example of this approach? Something big and well-known?

Yes, that is exactly what I'm saying.

Yes, unions are too democratic, too humane. Police should have only one goal -- to protect the government from peons. You can't risk the police having any resemblance to humans. This might lead to failure in the main goal achievement.

Look around: dirt and bacteria are all around! Booooo(or whatever bacteria say)!

Facepalm.

P.S. I don't want to insult you, but you might want to check your head -- I forget how this illness is called, but there exists a condition when a victim becomes unreasonably obsessed with cleanliness and is panically afraid of anything non-sterile. I suppose there are many stages in between too, so it isn't like you either just don't care or are mad as a hatter.

I believe that they are not allowed. Some of them just are.

Useful for what? To lure here more users? Mostly useless then because Lemmy almost isn't indexed by web-crawlers. So all your "content" is visible only to those who already are here.

Extremely primitive Russian propaganda. It might work for those who know nothing about this war, but not likely. Imbeciles-tier level.

Those who consider themselves White Knights in a Shiny Armour. We have too many of them thinking that only they know how things should be and that only they are bearers of the ideal moral codex.

Cats: don't you lick there too?

Some modern cultures frown upon even the slightest and argumentative critique. As a result, any dialog now is praising. Kids are not that cynical and lying yet and don't like this kind of hypocrisy. This behaviour is just the residue of honesty. But worry not -- in a few years they will learn to keep their opinions to themselves and will wear those permanent smiles on their faces. Just like you want them to.
