On windows, I used Mullvad VPN and Qbittorrent. The settings suggested by Rodneyck are also what I used for qbittorrent.

And a tip: if you notice qbittorrent is not downloading your torrents but has lots of seeders and your VPN is connected... try restarting qbittorrent (right click the tray icon and quit) and it should start downloading.

26 year old here - I hope I still feel young when I'm 70! 😊

Dating is the only thing that's given me panic attacks in the past... I'm also in my mid-late 20's and I've decided long ago to simply cut my losses and to just enjoy life. I still have people in my life that I love dearly but a romantic partner? I don't think it's my thing honestly...

Idempotent code/repositories are great - I love making everything as reproducible as possible. Particularly in make where every 'all' type command should have a corresponding 'clean' command. Many times I'll see code bases where they skip defining the 'clean' command... or worse, have no 'all' command to begin with and rely on the developer knowing all the build and environment setup commands...

"""

unauthorized copying to train Llama is an "undeniably commercial" use that provides no new transformative meaning and shouldn't qualify as fair use.

"""

Obviously they shouldn't have used pirated content in this case... but how is the argument that it provides "no new transformative meaning"? Isn't it pretty self evident that it does? It's even in the literal name: "generative AI" 🙄

I agree - A lot of people seem so prepared for someone to disagree with them that they seem to misfire on people they agree with. I try to avoid this by starting my comments with "I agree" 😊 ... though even then some people still get confused 🫠

Silo on Apple TV is really good

I'm not sure what exactly you're asking, but if you're suggesting that Trump is accelerating the genocide in Gaza then I absolutely agree. I also do not support Trump to be clear.

The US represents ~69% of the armaments to Israel. And yes Germany make up a significant ~30%. Both could use that as leverage.

The US never stopped providing weapons to Israel is their point I assume. Even under Biden.

This is way too obscure. Most people would need more time than this to plan I imagine. I'm only hearing about this today after being tuned into politics for months and I'd only realisticly be able to participate if I heard about this 2 weeks ago.

If this issue gets 20 upvotes, the bot says it'll get added to the backlog to get fixed. Just posting it here to help it get some traction. We have ~40 days before it's simply closed.

Last month I posted this issue to the VSCode github about a bug where new instances of VSCode launched from a windows terminal fail to inherit the environment if VSCode is already running. I have to use Windows where I work and I often need different environments when working on different projects so I'd really like this issue to get fixed.

I was trying to find the comments I've saved on the Connect app, but the Saved tab on the left navigation rail only seems to display saved posts; not comments. Is there a way to view saved comments in the app?

Update: It seems the comments are actually there under Saved. However, when I sort by "new", newly created comments appear after posts for some reason. I have to scroll ALL the way down to view the saved comments. This seems to be a sorting bug.
