LOL reminds me about the bigot during the first Trump administration harassing Puerto Ricans because he claimed they are aren't American citizens. Get ready for even more of this nonsense in the next 4 years, ugh.

Thanks for this, I also have been using andOTP for years (and before that its earlier fork OTP Authenticator), didn't realize its development went dormant too.

Win at what? The Pied Piper team might win if they were competing with the Switch Pitch Ball (always blue! always blue!).

Though if you meant hacking or anything technical pretty good chance F-Society wins. Maybe Gilfoyle joins up with F-Society, he seems like he'd be into it.

I suspect it's partly a safety / comfort thing, female drivers don't necessarily want to be hit on or harassed by every other male passenger they pick up.

They do exist, I just assume they're armed in case they pick up some dude that starts acting up.. The one woman I personally knew that was an uber driver always had a weapon her on side of the car just in case.

To be fair your post title does not match their own text

To keep your account safe and secure, in February 2025, Bitwarden will require additional verification for users who do not use two-step login.

So it's not all accounts, just the ones that don't already have 2FA. Personally I wouldn't have noticed any changes since I already use 2FA enabled with an authenticator app. But I can see how this might bite you in the ass if you weren't already using 2FA.

Interestingly I used to run into a similar issue when using Lastpass. When logging in from other IP addresses they would often do mandatory email 2FA, and of course I couldn't get into the email account without Lastpass. But it sort of resolved itself since I also have email on my phone so I just had to make sure those Lastpass emails didn't end up in spam or wherever.

I have photic sneeze reflex aka sudden exposure to bright light tends to make me sneeze. Usually happens if I've been indoors for a while and then walk out into a bright sunny day.

For a long time never really thought about it, just figured it was a normal thing. Wasn't until adulthood that I started noticing most people don't do that and looked it up. If Wikipedia is correct 18% - 35% of the world's population has that condition.

That's not normal. Not trying to sound harsh but most likely your dad doesn't know what he's doing / has no money to properly maintain or fix/replace the heating system you're using now. Not sure what type of system you guys use but generally speaking well maintained heating systems do need some maintenance every year to keep them running efficiently. Usually the household does that sort of work in the fall/early winter.

Or maybe your dad is such a penny pincher that they think $2500 or the $ for proper yearly maintenance is more money vs using space heaters. That kind of thinking is a bit silly since usually the electric bills you accumulate year over year running space heaters in every room adds up to way more than just fixing the heating system properly.

If they've been dead for a while then the body is going to be quite decayed so that unfortunate person would end up dying again immediately.

Unless you're suggesting this thing that came to life is no longer human. So in that case decayed body/flesh, missing organs/bodyparts, etc. no longer prevent it from "life". But I'd argue that isn't a human coming back to life, more like a corpse transforming into something else.

That's a fun fact. Now it makes more sense that he also does voice acting on American Dad, I'd have to think he's okay with all the violence/humor in Seth MacFarlane shows (American Dad, Family Guy, etc.) along with other "adult" animated works.

Hang them so the clothes can still air out but keep them separate from the 100% clean clothes e.g. section off part of a closet or use a different closet or rack or anything you can put clothes hangers on.

Haven't heard of any, but I imagine something like that would be on its own Lemmy instance that may end up getting blocked by tons of other instances.

If you're referring to watchpeopledie (?) that community migrated to their own image posting website after leaving Reddit.
