Un entretien avec l’historien israélien Benny Morris est paru dans un journal allemand (Frankfurter Allgemeine) le 20 juin dernier. La Revue K en a publié une traduction française dans son édition du 25 juin [1]

Morris y aborde successivement l’opération militaire israélienne en Iran (l’entretien est paru la veille de l’intervention nord-américaine), la guerre à Gaza, des points d’histoire relatifs à la situation en Palestine dans les années 1930-1948, enfin l’état politique de la question israélo-palestinienne. Ayant analysé précédemment dans LM le délire antisioniste d’Andreas Malm, je me propose ici d’analyser le délire sioniste de Benny Morris. Ainsi, l’état des lieux du délire antagonique sioniste/antisioniste sera provisoirement esquissé, à défaut d’en présenter un tableau clinique exhaustif.

"Far-right activists, including members of Betar—a pro-Israel extremist group known for racist violence—have been running a constellation of WhatsApp group chats to plan counterprotests against pro-Palestine demonstrations and commit potential hate crimes against Muslims in New York City.

The chat logs show its members, including individuals publicly affiliated with Betar US, discussing a range of plans and ideas...

Betar US also appears to have had some coordination with local government, with one member stating that they were forwarding information to a local state assemblyman."

Two babies died of starvation in Gaza due to Israel’s continuing blockade of vital aid. The deaths come as the US approved $30 million in funding for the Gaza Humanitarian Foundation. More than 500 Palestinians have been killed while trying to get food from its aid centres.

Normalization between Damascus and Tel Aviv means that hundreds of thousands of people died and a stable nation was destroyed, while every ethnic/religious group turned on each other, all so that Israel could usurp more territory and deal a blow to the Palestinian resistance. There’s no way to sugar coat it.

Almost 84,000 people died in Gaza between October 2023 and early January 2025 as a result of the Hamas–Israel war, estimates the first independent survey of deaths. More than half of the people killed were women aged 18–64, children or people over 65, reports the study, which was posted on the preprint server medRxiv last week1. It has not been peer reviewed.

It was the hardest day of my life. I’ve never felt humiliation like I did that day.

I hope food can get through soon and be distributed in a respectful way, without humiliation and killing. The current system is chaotic and deadly.

There’s no justice in it. Most end up with nothing, because there’s no organised system and there’s too little aid for too many people.
