"Suri's arrest comes after an exceptionally public media campaign targeting his wife, Mapheze Saleh, by pro-Israel groups. Saleh, a U.S. citizen of Palestinian background, is the daughter of Ahmed Yousef, a former political advisor to the Hamas-led government in the Gaza Strip, after the group gained control there in 2006. Yousef has been a writer and commentator on Hamas in recent years for major Western media publications, including the New York Times and The Guardian."

No one in Gaza feels safe. Israeli warplanes circle the skies nonstop, bombing civilian homes mercilessly, killing dozens without reason.

The airstrikes last night killed more than 400 Palestinians, including 174 children, 89 women, and 32 elderly people.

We’re still in shock. My eight-year-old daughter can no longer sleep.

I tried to comfort her, to help her sleep, but she kept waking up crying. She told me, “Mama, every time I close my eyes, I feel like another bomb is falling on us.”

Totally wasted sarcasm.

Right here. Biden's policies greatly strengthened Israel and directly helped the genocide.

Is Trump worse? I think yes. But that is still no reason to gloat or to think that endlessly supporting the lesser evil is going to produce any real changes that the world needs.

Many opposed Harris because she continued very active support to the Israeli genocide. Very few believed Trump would be better.

Yeah, he was so much better than Trump. /s

Blame Biden-Harris and the Democrats, not the Palestinians.

Yes, and it is very positive that prominent human rights groups agree and document it. These reports can be used to pressure governments, universities, etc. to divest from Israel and to stop sending arms, software, etc. to Israel.

That statement is truly incredible! Biden helped give cover to Netanyahu (in addition to endless supplies of bombs) and drew one tiny red line for a few weeks (no bunker-busters in Rafah) and that faded quickly. He stopped funding UNWRA, even when other Western countries resumed it. Continuous support for Israel in the UN Security Council.

The West Bank example is grotesque. What effect did those sanctions have? None that I can see. The IDF has begun destroying infrastructure like they have done in Gaza, in addition to all of the killings.

So no, there is no reason to defend Biden/Harris. Is Trump worse? Yes, so what about it? Should we refrain from protesting because Democrats are in power right now?

Aren't the elections over? Whatever "strategic" excuse for supporting Biden/Harris is gone now. It's a bi-partisan policy of unconditional support for Israel.

It's true Trump will be more extreme, but there is no longer any excuse for going easy on Biden/Harris, if there ever was.

Hey Jordan, sorry for the delay, but I just saw your comment. I just checked NSFW so we should be good now. Thanks for the heads-up. I didn't realize the photo was in NSFW territory but I will keep that in mind in the future. Thanks again.
