What a depressing looking meal. Is this dude getting their food from the local prison cafeteria?

[-] [email protected] 9 points 4 days ago

My local prison serves one slice of cheese and a half one of ham in their sandwiches so where can I do time to get this?

Bro, buy hoagie rolls at the bakery instead of ultraprocessed wonderbread. Some real swiss cheese and smoked ham that you have to cut yourself. Pickles from the refrigerated section. Grainy brown mustard.

What is with this 3rd grader’s lunch? Why do that to yourself?

But I don’t always want a fancy sandwich, sometimes I want the basic version.

At least get bread with whole grains and don't use American cheese though. It's not any extra effort.

I love whole grain bread, but not for a basic meat and cheese sandwich, or PBJ.

It’s like how I love burritos, both the full dressed big plate sized one, and also shitty fried gas stations ones every once in a while.

Mood. The raccoon craves garbage.

People don’t set aside the time they need for lunch. If you work remote, fuck meetings. You deserve an hour in your day to make a legit meal. I’ve seen some folks’ schedules and it’s out of hand. Zero time to actually vacate the desk. I hate that shit.

Canned pickles are fine.

I didn't know you could eat such a meal without swimming first

What magic is this? How does this idiotic statement make so much sense?

[-] [email protected] 1 points 3 days ago

Can't get my head around it! Best guess is that this is the sort of thing our mom's fed us for summer lunches.

Put the chips INSIDE the sandwich

I see you like to be culinarily adventurous as well.

I wish. Look at all those layers. But seriously, squares? Maybe I take it back.

gotta be triangles

That guy should replace his MacBook battery, it’s getting swollen…

[-] [email protected] 4 points 3 days ago

That’s just a fisheye effect from the camera lens. The batteries in that MacBook are under the palm rest/trackpad.

[-] [email protected] 3 points 3 days ago

Not a Macbook (Windows key is a dead giveaway), looks like a Dell. And if that is the case, very high chance the battery is actually under the track-pad, and that curvature near the middle is just how it is shaped.

Looks like Lenovo to me. The key caps are pretty usual Lenovo stuff.

[-] [email protected] 1 points 3 days ago

Ideapad? Thinkpad keycaps look different IMO

You might be right. I was getting Dell Latitude vibes from it:

spoiler

[-] [email protected] 1 points 3 days ago

Looks like they use basically the same keycaps

[-] [email protected] 2 points 3 days ago

I have the same company issued laptop. I hate these pos machines. Already replaced 3 times due to the battery capacity hitting sub 70

Soggy crisps are really an acquired taste though.
