I can block communities, but I'm not sure how to block an entire instance?

Looked in settings and couldn't find anything

It's been a week or two now since the top-right menu buttons stopped working for me. I can use the one to select between "Local", "Subscribed", and "All", but the buttons for the sort/time and the three-dots button don't do anything anymore. Has anyone else been having this problem? (And if so, have you found a way to fix it?)

Also, after a force stop of the app and rebooting the phone, it now works on the left screen, but not the right screen. I tested to make sure it wasn't a dead spot on the touch screen, and that corner is responsive in the OS and other apps. So apparently it's just this app in the top right corner of the right screen which seems very odd.

Another edit: the top right corner button for saving posts or comments and other interactions work fine in the top right of the right screen, it's just the menu buttons that don't work on the right screen

This way one can blur NSFW on their main they'd use in public, and can have NSFW unblurred on their NSFW alt. account. I know of several Lemmy apps that already do this.

I want to see the top communities across all instances of Lemmy. Anyone know how to do that on this app?

Since the last update, I cannot write or respond anymore with one of my accounts in Jerboa. The same account works as expected with Voyager and the web UI.

With the present account, I can post without problem (and I wrote this in Jerboa). I don't believe that I modified the configuration in any way.

I get the following messages in the other account:

• This account is not yet in a ready state
• This account (name of the account) is b... [cannot see more displayed]

The problem is not limited to any specific lemmy instance (same issue on feddit.de and lemmy.world).

Any idea what is going on here?

When I am in Jerboa on any device (phone, tablet, pc) and I go to my profile and click on posts... it is empty. Yet I have of course made posts. Is there something I need to do to get it to save my posts? Comments has my comments.

It happens to me sometimes when I edit my post, and after clicking the save button, it doesn't save; instead, it gets deleted. Anyone else getting same problem?

When I type it seems fine but when I backspace or move the cursor sometimes random word get deleted or my cursor jumps to the beginning of the line.

I used Joey for years for Reddit and it has an incredibly useful navigation feature that would allow you to use arrows to jump through every top level comment.

This app would benefit so much from this feature.

how could the gui improve for onboarding for new users / what notifs should be displayed at first launch?

Why doesn't Jerboa use unified push to implement notification management, as some applications like Tusky do for Mastodon ? Normally, since Lemmy and Mastodon use the same fediverse protocol, this should be possible ? Or maybe the function is not yet managed by Lemmy ?

I get we can sort feeds by community but is there a way to sort by entire instances?

This is a new UI i created for Jerboa, more for practice than for anything serious. What do you think?

tagging (as I see that is the only possibility to separate posts by language in lemmy) all posts automatically (maybe via adding user-defined string in settings);

also filter by tags would be great

Is there a way to display all the available communities on the local instance? Similarly to how the website works?

As the title says, frequently when I go to share a post, the app crashes.

Links always open in the Webview instead of my browser as a default.

Is there a way to change this? I don't see any obvious settings for that in the app.
