I was on the side of the MK1 switch port to my best efforts even though the graphics are a thousand times worse.

But this is just not acceptable. It doesn't even have the full Invasions season. After you complete Cage mansion it basically says "Good job, you tried out this new feature and got interested in it. Unfortunately we did not bother to let you have the full experience. Now get out." and gives quitting as the only option.

This needed to be said, it's been weeks since the game came out and it's still like this. It's not even slightly fair for Switch players.

Hi guys, we just wanted to update on some things we are changing a bit on the sub.

Spoiler Policy

Firstly, we are going to ease up on the spoiler policy. MK1 has been out for a few weeks now, and most people have played the story or watched a play through. We aren’t going be as strict on spoilers now, if anyone is still trying to go in to the game spoiler-free this is your heads up.

If you’d like to spoiler tag your posts, you’re still more than free to do that. We will not be taking down posts that don’t use them, though.

More Focus On Gameplay

We would like to have a little more focus on the actual gameplay of the new MK. We want to talk more tech, kombos, Kameos, etc.

Ideally, we want this to be a place where people can learn more about the game and improve.

We are discussing ways to do this and have some ideas, but would like feedback from the community. Is there anything you guys would like to see more of? Weekly character discussion? Kombo competitions? Let us know what you guys would like.

FAQs

Some questions get asked multiple times daily, so in an effort cut down some of those, we want to aggregate some frequently asked questions here.

“Do I need to spend seasonal kredits/koins/etc. this season?”

Anything to do with the in-game season needs to be spent during that season. This includes Seasonal Kredits and Invasions Krowns. Feel free to buy everything you can from the seasonal shop. AFAIK, koins will not reset.

”I’m tired of these orange/red/yellow skins for my character. How do I get their alt costume with a normal color?”

Character Mastery rewards the first alt skin at lvl 18, with more palattes on higher levels. This will be your blue Alt for Sub-Zero, green Alt for Reptile, etc.

”What about Brutalities / Second Fatality / Taunts?”

Same as answer above, you get them through Character Mastery. You get most, if not all, by the time you get your alt skin at lvl 18.

“Is there any way to earn Kombat League gear outside of KL?”

As of right now, no. Though that may change next season with the Warrior Shrine option that is currently inactive.

”How do I do a Titan battle? / How do I perform a Mercy?”

Not in the game yet, will most likely be added later.

These are the questions I see get asked the most, personally. I will add more as I see them. If you guys notice some that also get asked a lot, feel free to comment them and I’ll add it to the list.
