Hello, I downloaded Avelon just now and I have to say I think I prefer it over other Lemmy apps I have used. However, I can’t help but miss the banner/bio section of Lemmy profiles, and I was wondering if this is something that’s going to be implemented in the future? I understand smoothness and the way the app functions will be prioritised, but I am a huge lover of customisation and I hope this is something that will be considered. :)

Totally forgot about bios, will definitely add that! I wanna add banner images too, but might do those a bit differently than other apps to fit in with the Avelon design language.

Glad to hear you like it! Let me know if you have any other feedback, it's very useful to hear as much as possible about what people think.

Thank you for replying! I look forward to seeing what it’ll look like, and I definitely understand wanting to stick with the aesthetic of the app.

So far it’s been really great, the layout is fantastic and I like the already existing customisation options. Another thing, however, that I noticed is that whenever I refresh my home feed the same posts I’ve already read keep appearing. I was hoping maybe new posts would pop up so I wouldn’t have to scroll down and start all over again. That’s just that one detail though, as for feedback. You’re doing great work and I may just make it my main app. (:

Have you checked out "mark read on scroll" and "hide read posts" in Settings/General? Might be what you want :)
