you mean the recent libadwaita 1.7 change? why did they do that, any idea?

https://gitlab.gnome.org/GNOME/libadwaita/-/merge_requests/1317 colours looked yellowish (on some monitors?). So they were tinted to make them colder.

They did the blue tint because apparently it feels more modern.

I’m not a fan. I prefer the previous more neutral tone.

I also don’t think it’s a good idea to make the dark theme, which is more likely to be used at night, emit more blue light.

huh, I guess its fine if others do it too but looking at the discussion on that issue and it seems this might not go well with some people
