Work Reform

A place to discuss positive changes that can make work more equitable, and to vent about current practices. We are NOT against work; we just want the fruits of our labor to be recognized better.
Our Philosophies:
- All workers must be paid a living wage for their labor.
- Income inequality is the main cause of lower living standards.
- Workers must join together and fight back for what is rightfully theirs.
- We must not be divided and conquered. Workers gain the most when they focus on unifying issues.
Our Goals
- Higher wages for underpaid workers.
- Better worker representation, including but not limited to unions.
- Better and fewer working hours.
- Stimulating a massive wave of worker organizing in the United States and beyond.
- Organizing and supporting political causes and campaigns that put workers first.

MODERATORS
Providing support and resources for movements that are opposed to Project 2025 and the rise of fascism would be nice, but at the least how about drawing a distinction between the fascists and anti fascists. I'm tired of my friends, family, and myaelf being lumped in with the fascists. Don't think your own country is immune to fascism either. I see a lot of countries whipping up nationalism in response to what's happening here, and that's troubling.
So you expect countries with smaller militaries (ie. all of them) to openly fund groups opposing a democratically elected leader?
We recognize the distinction, but you have to be aware that you are unfortunately a minority in the country. Less than a third of Americans actually voted against this.
Not everyone in Russia supports the war in Ukraine, and I 100% support anyone trying to leave Russia or the Russian military, but Russia as a country can get fucked and needs to collapse for the good of the world.
Why not? How often do people talk about using a time machine to take out Hitler? How is this different?
This ignores the destruction of the democratic process through gerrymandering, voter suppression, and voter intimidation, not to mention the very real possibility that voting systems were compromised. Of the people that were of age, were able, and did vote, just over half voted for Trump, assuming voting tallies were accurate.
I don't expect anyone to be out saviors, in fact I expect things to go much like Nazi Germany, where the infection of fascism spreads across the globe and many of the people around me including myself and my kids will probably die. The collapse of the US will not, and is not happening in a vacuum. And before you suggest that I take on the federal government, look at what happened in Hong Kong. Outside support and intervention in coordination with resistance elements in the US is absolutely critical.
False. He didn't even win 50% of the people who did vote for president. He only won a plurality.
