Noones claiming there was no violence on that day. Western media embellished greatly what actually happened, and many people today still believe that. For example most people think the tank man was run over, and most people think thousands were shot, pulped and burned.

Its an interesting topic to bring up because its not being actively propagandized by reputable sources anymore, and multiple journalists have come out and said they knew what was published was false.

Theres also a good bit of info about it you can find from wikileaks.

Foreign propaganda? You can't even type Tiananmen Square lmao and say whatever you want but it's an undisputable fact that the protest did happened and the students were dispersed right? Why isn't even talking about this part of the conflict allowed? Even for an alien new to earth this would come off awfully sus
