Honestly upset they're making a standalone and not iterating on the index. Middle finger triggers are fine, but the index controllers are really next level in terms of immersion. The only issue is that the switches in the sticks suck ass and drift after a few hundred hours. Also I've had struggles with steam link on a quest 3, and I don't enjoy introducing unnecessary latency with wireless connections, especially in vr where anything above an 11ms frametime is liable to make people motion sick.
If the headset is capable of running intensive games on its own then I'll be slightly reassured.
