Are there any scientists out there working in stuff that's useful and beneficial to society? Or are they all just focusing on sneaky shit that makes it easier for The Man to make our life worse?
In the US at least the cuts to beneficial scientific research have been devastating. New grads are already looking to work for evil corporations rather than take a chance in the hellscape of academic publically funded research.
