See, this is a perfect example why "defund the police" is a stupid idea.
In America the police already have shit funding. That's why you have these untrained, unprofessional idiots running around. You have an incredibly low standard for law enforcement and you want to make the standard even lower.
I mean, for fuck sake, there was a story where an American dude couldn't become a police man because he scored too high on his intelligence test!
Just look at any other modern, civilised country and you'll see how much of a joke American law enforcement is. Then look at how much training police get.
defund the buying of crazy gear and fund the training of officers. good training, not fantasy camp rambo that some go through
