So called communists. Just like the Nazis were so called socialists, and like the North Koreans live in a so called democratic people's republic (E: same goes for Americans and Brits and all the others living in so called democracies, when the reality is we're more like plutocracies/kleptocracies).
The reason you can't tell the difference is because there is none - conservatives co-opt leftist ideals and language as a matter of course to gain and/or maintain power. But they're still just conservatives underneath.
I love when people who don't live here comment on our political situation....like we truly have any control over it as normal citizens. Hahahaha.
Also, as a former world traveler, it is the same everywhere!

Nah sorry USA is the global empire. Of course everyone in the western world is paying very, very close attention to what you are doing and of course everyone can and should speak their mind.
That all said this just isn't a smart, well thought out commentary. This is just piling on the "conservatives bad" meme. Low effort divisive nonsense. Just imagine posting a meme basically saying "US conservatives = worse than USSR" and then right below that writing "Can't say much for the conservatives in the US part". Oh the cognitive dissonance!
