The vast majority of federal cases end with a plea deal. Any idea if that could include forfeiting any right to run for public office? Would be great for peace of mind if so

I want him to rip DeSantis to shreds first. Hopefully he does it out of sheer spite anyway if he can't run.
That would look way too much like partisan coercion and would absolutely blow up in Biden and the Democrats' faces. They need to have a real iron-clad case if they're going to make this work.
