As Snoopy does a backflip, Charlie Brown exclaims,"Boy, what a greeting!"
Snoopy continues to bounce up and down, and he continues,"This touches me deeply..."
Snoopy sits and watches as Charlie Brown cries. The latter says,"Never before in all my life has anyone made me feel so welcome! snifsnif*"

They walk side by side and she continues,"And yet, I saw you down at the drugstore today with Patty!"
He stops and spreads his hands. He says,"All right, I admit it..."
He walks away and concludes,"I'm not above that sort of thing!"

The bird is puzzled as Snoopy starts walking behind singing off key.
The bird turns to Snoopy and shouts at him.

She continues reading and replies,"Look it up in the dictionary"
He says,"I tried to, but I couldn't find it" She asks,"Why not?"
She frowns as he replies,"I didn't know how to spell it!"

Violet sits on the floor surrounding by baking ingredients and a baking bowl. She says,"Let's see now...a few grains of salt...one teaspoon vanilla..."
She pours ingredients into the bowl and continues,"Two cups of light cream...two eggs separated..."
She starts stirring and exclaims,"Rats! It's just no use!!"
She stands and looks down at the bowl and concludes,"No matter what you do to it....a mud pie is still a mud pie!"

Patty walks along and calls out,"Hey, Charlie Brown!"
She stops in front of them and exclaims,"Gee, with shirts just alike, it's hard to tell you two apart!"
As Snoopy turns away glowering, Charlie Brown turns to him and exclaims,"All right, don't look so insulted!!"

Violet sits at a table filled with baking utensil and a plate of pie. She says,"If Charlie Brown doesn't eat this mud pie, I'll never make him another one!"
She walks up to Charlie Brown with the plate in hand and says,"Here, Charlie Brown, I made this especially for you..." He is sitting on the floor playing with his toy-boat and looks back at the pie.
As he walks off, she asks,"Where are you going? Aren't you going to eat this mud pie?"
He stops and replies,"Sure, I just thought I'd better wash my hands first!"

He falls on the floor laughing and shouting,"April Fool! Ha, Ha, Ha, Ha, Ho, Ho, Ho! What a joke!! Ho, Ho, Ho!" She looks down at him and replies,"April Fool's day was yesterday!!"

She kneels, plants the seed, and replies,"Sure, we'll plant this acorn now, and an oak tree will grow right here" He says,"Well, I'll be...."
She stands, looing around her in confusion. She wonders,"Now, where did he go?"
He reappears with an axe and looks at the area where the seed is planted. She exclaims,"Hey! Get away from here with that!!"
