Also got some Bellini ECN-2 and E6 kits.

This should last a few months, and I’ll be able to try shooting some slide film for the first time !

I also got almost 20rolls out of one Kentmere 100ft roll. Had to be careful with minimizing waste between rolls, but worked out well ! (Got 1936exp and 131exp at the end)

Fuji SuperG 400 was my favorite film ever. Pushing it one or two stops sends the reds and greens off the charts into surreal territory with a creamy grain. Printed on Kodak Royal II paper.

Original XP2 is a bit mushy on contrast. Printed on Ilford Multigrade RC Glossy with a 3 1/2 magenta filter to get that sharper contrast.

Hello.

Would it be ok to ask in this community for advice on what developing tank to buy, or is it purposed only to post pictures?

The sidebar states “Please remember to tag your posts with the camera, film, and lens used”, but I’m not posting any pictures yet.

Attached go two scanned Instax 400 wide pictures, since it is a requirement.

Fuji SuperG 400 pushed 2 stops sends the saturation into ridiculous range. The overcast day with a lot of skyscraper glass gave the concrete a heavy blue cast. Printed on Fuji Maxima glossy.

First time trying caffenol. Development turned out relatively well, though the film was underdeveloped – also there were some issues with fixing since I wanted to try using a salt bath instead of proper fixer (the real fixer had gone bad). Ended up having to use actual fixer anyway and as a result the film ended up a bit foggy.

Overall I'm still happy with the results but will probably stick to Xtol and Rodinal for now.

So as it turns out, photographing moving cars while manually focusing and with relatively little light in the shade is quite hard. This one was quite sharp, but some others failed a bit more

Location is the Twente Rally in the east of the Netherlands

I've got a bunch of old (1992) photos shot on 110 film with a point and shoot. I scanned the negatives with a cheap film scanner (from LIDL) a long time ago, and to be fair most of the 35mm film I had came out ok. But there are a couple of 110 rolls that I don't even know what to do with. The exposure is pretty bad and I think the film was exposed to light or not developed properly. I've played around with the photos trying to first get white balance right and then pushing the curves, but I can't get them right.

Any advice? I don't have the negatives with me, otherwise I'd try scanning them again just in case. Is there any workflow or app that I can use to try to recover them?

I have recently started getting into film photography and I'm still learning the ropes. After buying a variety of color and black and white films to experiment with, I noticed that I somehow accidentally bought a couple of rolls of very high speed Ilford Delta ISO 3200 film. At this point, all I have is a Kodak Ektar H35N and an Olympus Pen-EES 2 which has a max ISO of 400. Is the Ilford film useless to me, or can it be used at lower speeds in certain conditions?

EDIT: This is tangential, but I was originally going to ask this question on Reddit instead of Lemmy because the conventional wisdom is that Lemmy isn't useful yet for more niche topics, but I thought "why not try Lemmy first anyway," and I'm glad I did. I found the most active film photography community on Lemmyverse.net (which hadn't yet even federated to my small instance) and it paid off. How nice!
