From the album 'The Fury of Our Maker's Hand'

Sevendust - Black [ American Rock ]

From the album 'Sevendust'.

While officially classified as Rock, it's not actually befitting of the bands awesome sound. They've made more good metal in the last thirty years than some actual Metal bands.

The Corey Smoot Experiment - Mandatory Purgatory [ American Heavy Metal ]

From the album 'When Worlds Collide'.

Corey might be better known as Flattus Maximus from one of my favorite bands 'GWAR'. This is an album written and produced solely by him just prior to his passing.

Lots of good music on this album if you've not heard it. It's sort of like listening to GWAR but without that nagging feeling that you need to go shower on the inside.

RIP Flattus and Oderus.

I have a really good sense of humor and love a good joke. Got any good metal jokes? Something the average metal head would find amusing?

Question: What has seven arms and sucks?

Answer: Def Leppard

Hope it's not too soon.

From the album 'Holy Diver'.

Dirty Looks - Nobody Rides For Free [ American Glam Metal ]

From the album 'Turn Of The Screw'.

These guys were considered a local delicacy in the Pittsburgh area where I grew up. Very similar to Poison. Almost every girl I ever dated had at least one of their CD's. It's not my go to genre, but it's not bad either.

August Burns Red - The Seventh Trumpet [ American Metalcore ]

From the album 'Thrill Seeker'.

Infectious Grooves - Therapy [ Funk Metal ]

From the album 'The Plague That Makes Your Booty Move... It's the Infectious Grooves'

Definitely an oddball by genre. This is a side project of Cyco Mike (of Suicidal Tendencies). This song in particular features (a very young) Ozzy singing a backing vocal.

Judas Priest - One On One [ British Heavy Metal ]

From the album 'Demolition'.

While this is Judas Priest, this album features The Ripper on lead vocals. Admittedly it has a much different sound and feel to it, but I think it's a solid album in it's own right.

24

Fight - Contortion [ British / American Heavy Metal ]

From the immortal album 'War Of Words'.

25

Snot - My Balls [ American Nu Metal ]

From the album 'Get Some'.

This is more like a hard ballad. They held nothing back for this song.

RIP Lynn and Dobbs
