New details have emerged about the Israeli drone attack in Beit Lahia, which killed at least nine Palestinians.

The attack reportedly hit a relief team accompanied by journalists and photographers.

The Palestinian Journalists Protection Center said in a statement that "Israel killed three journalists in an air strike on a media team documenting relief efforts in northern Gaza".

"The journalists were documenting humanitarian relief efforts for those affected by Israel’s genocidal war".

"Columbia University leadership made a series of concessions to the Trump administration on Thursday following an extraordinary letter that listed nine demands it expected the university to make if it did not want its federal funding to be pulled.

On Thursday, the university announced it was expelling, suspending and revoking the degrees of 22 students following last year’s Hamilton Hall protest, fulfilling one of the nine demands issued in a letter from the Trump administration to Columbia."

"The demonstrators from Jewish Voice for Peace wore red shirts reading “Jews say stop arming Israel” and held up banners as they chanted “Bring Mahmoud home now!” on the lower level of the Fifth Avenue building’s public atrium.

After warning the protesters to leave, police said they arrested 98 people who stayed on various charges, including trespassing, obstruction and resisting arrest."

A group of Israeli settler leaders visited the United Arab Emirates (UAE) and met senior government officials earlier this week, according to Israeli media.
Around 700,000 Israeli settlers live in roughly 300 illegal settlements in the occupied West Bank and East #Jerusalem, all of which have been built since #Israel occupied the territories in 1967.

Khalil, an Algerian citizen of Palestinian origin and an American green-card holder, was detained by DHS officials around half past eight as he was entering the Columbia residential building he lives in. He was returning from an iftar, breaking the day-long fast observed by many Muslims during the month of Ramadan.

Palestine Action have struck overnight to wreck the ‘Trump Turnberry’ golf course, in response to the American administration’s plans and threats to destroy, ethnically cleanse, and ‘take over’ the Palestinian Gaza Strip.

After entering the 800-acre resort, activists painted in 3-metre-high letters, “GAZA IS NOT FOR SALE” across the lawn of the South Ayrshire course.

Making the popular opposition to Trump’s intentions clear, activists spray painted the club house and dug up the greens including the course’s most prestigious holes – used in numerous Open Championships.
