Hi guys! I’ve been pushed on my work machine to use Windows 11. I’m not loving too much the taskbar, which won’t allow to have 2 rows of windows, and the single row of tasks gets a ‘…’ button as soon as it’s getting a bit crowded. This makes it very difficult to find your app. I don’t want to combine tasks, and I’d very much prefer to have two rows of tasks. Is there any trusted (FOSS) way of doing this? Seems there’s no easy registry key to just enable it these days.

Looking for software

I want to set up remote desktop takeover for my girlfriends computer so i don't have to come down and help her with issues.

Theres RDP but setting it up to do shadow connections so she doesn't get kicked off her shows is annoying and complicated and my edibles are kicking in.

I need a super free and simple remote desktop software, any ideas?

I have enabled the mod "Bring Back the Borders!", which is said to remove rounded corners and add borders in Win11, and added dwm.exe to the include list as directed:

I'm happily on Dev builds of Win11 for some years, but it refuses to update for about last year. Overwriting the appraiserres.dll doesn't do the trick anymore. Is there some other bypass I can use? I don't want to run clean install from ISO.
