For those that have had enough of the Elon Musk worship online.
No flaming, baiting, etc. This community is intended for those opposed to the influx of Elon Musk-related advertising online. Coming here to defend Musk or his companies will not get you banned, but it likely will result in downvotes. Please use the reporting feature if you see a rule violation.
Opinions from all sides of the political spectrum are welcome here. However, we kindly ask that off-topic political discussion be kept to a minimum, so as to focus on the goal of this sub. This community is minimally moderated, so discussion and the power of upvotes/downvotes are allowed, provided lemmy.world rules are not broken.
Post links to instances of obvious Elon Musk fanboy brigading in default subreddits, lemmy/kbin communities/instances, astroturfing from Tesla/SpaceX/etc., or any articles critical of Musk, his ideas, unrealistic promises and timelines, or the working conditions at his companies.

I don't like Trump either but it looks like he did more to end the genocide than Biden was capable of doing. Heck, even Trump gets to take credit now for saving TikTok, a platform where approx. 80% are against the genocide in Palestine.

I hate Musk too but Biden was the President that kept sending money to murder 70k+ civilians, approx 25k children.

Canceling Biden's sanctions on Israel letting them have the funding they want to continue their genocide reeeeealy sounds like doing the opposite of "ending a genocide more than Joe did."
The same settlements that continued under Biden? It wasn't until 2024 that Biden claimed sanctions that targeted very few organizations but never targeted the actual government backing the settlements. Before you try to pretend that Biden never supported genocide through 2025, maybe you should do some more research. I am not fond of Trump & my point about the ceasefire & TikTok was that Democrats are incredibly inept to not have got it done before, letting Trump take credit. I can only hope for the best at this point.
Never said biden didn't support israel's genocide, just pointing out that the new guy is already undoing all the meager attempts to slow the genocide from the previous guy.
A ceasefire doesn't undo the genocide, it helps slow it down. Even Biden officials admitted that Trump played a big part in that.
Lolok sure whatever you say, let's just ignore that day 1 trump reversed the sanctions on Israel placed by Biden to reduce the amount of weapons and money going to Israel for their genocide effort.

And yet here we are where he gets to take credit for bringing it back. Trump was even mentioned as getting credit whenever users opened the app. Like I said, Democrats are not all there... With AIPAC dollars, corporate donors & insider trading... They don't need to win, they just need you to believe if you donate enough they might be able to.
