We are a Pro-Conservative forum. Posts must have a clear pro-conservative, or anti left-wing bias. We are interested in promoting conservatism and discussing things that might get ignored elsewhere. All sources are acceptable, however reputable sources with a reputation for factual reporting are preferred.

Dissent is allowed in the comments, but try to be constructive; if you do not agree, then provide a reason which is backed up by references or a reasonable alternative interpretation of the provided facts. That means the left wing is welcome to state their opinions, but please keep it in good faith.

Sure it was discussed, but it didn't say what the image was. Was it a meme? I have no clue. What was the context? WAs it jsut a pic of Elon giving a nazi salute without saying anything?

Yep. But that doesn't mean that this conversation should lead to variations of "every conservative is a Nazi" nonsense. Becuase that's not fact. That may be your opinion, but that's not fact.
Hey, it's not my fucking instance. If lemm.ee decides to ban conservative communities, then hey, they can go for it. There are other conservative communites on lemmy.
I don't agree that they should ban them, but I do believe it's their right to do whatever they want with their instance. Just like I can do what I want with my instances.
No one is banning conservative communities. they are removing nazi posts. Not sure why you’re misunderstanding that
And I am fine with that. But I am seeing a larger conversation, in the links provided where people are saying that there should be no conservative communities. As in literally saying, "There shouldn't be conservative communities allowed anywhere on Lemmy."

Nope. I'll allow breitbart posts though. and you gotta promise not to remove posts unless they are literally saying nazi stuff. You can't just go, "wait, this isn't an anti-elon news article, so it's A NAZI POST!" and crazy shit like that.
I say we start a community, conservative-leaning (because there are already a shitton of liberal-leaning ones) and see what happens. I am fine having a non-conservative mod, so that we can hopefully overcome the whole "all the mods are nazi's accusations)

Sure, fair comment. I can make a new account and make a genuine effort of being neutral.
Dont get me wrong - democratic party have made some seriously bad decisions. But at least they stayed within the law.
Yeah, I think the new account would be better, because for many people, if they look at your current account, they may see a bias and disregard what you have to say--even if you are right.
But again, only for the community. I have no problem with your main profile being as is. I don't agree with it, but I do support your right to say it.

K, and you may not wanna make it until we find out if we can even get the community. I haven't heard back from the mods about that, and an admin is kinda saying that the idea to unmod the community has been floated around amongst them for a while.
