This is the prime stickler with the USA-Ukraine deal that has been discussed on the news
Putin needs to lose something or he'll just invade someone else.
He only ever invades in response to NATO expansion. Maybe the west should stop trying to move in.

The invasion of Crimea and Ukraine. New NATO members joined after that happened in response.
Crimea happened after the US overthrew the government of Ukraine, and installed a far-right regime.
