They won't, they will be reviewed by a human being at some point and reinstated, they've been flagged by an automated program.

It's the Scunthorpe problem all over again.

That automated program flagged at least tens of thousands of historical photos, most of which aren't as silly as 'haha plane gay' but of actual people (some of whom are still very much alive) in a blatant attempt to literally whitewash American history. Like, they've flagged the photos of literal Medal of Honor recipients because their skin tone is darker than eggshell, this is objectively horrifying. The loss of even one of those files is completely disrespectful on a number of levels

No they aren't. There's too many. And nobody wants to be the one to get the blame. They're going to blame it on AI.
