Hello everyone!

Brand new to Lemmy. I saw a post a few days ago talking state specific sub groups here. Tragically, I have lost the link explaining how to find them/how it works.

Can anyone help me out? Alaskans are showing up, and I'd like to make sure that the state specific stuff is put out there someplace other than Reddit.

So if I get this right, you can always link the state community at [[email protected]](/c/[email protected]). [email protected], for example.

That's pretty neat. Well done whoever set it up, hopefully it'll gain traction. :)

Edit: The comment I responded to originally linked the list of communities at 50501.chat, which I thought was useful in its own right. In addition to the state ones, there's [email protected] for general discussion (not sure how it'll compliment existing communities), [email protected] for brainstorming, and [email protected] to see whatever is happening over at Reddit.

In the state communities, spaces are replaced by underscores, as in [email protected].

Oh, thank you. Yes, it's getting a bit of attraction from the mirror mainly.
