    2 passes. Face lather. Excellent shave.


This was the third attempt at an edge on this Geneva Cutlery razor. This was the first time that this razor has provided a great 2-pass shave; as it should with a fresh Jnat edge. My assumption is that the steel's temper was compromised at the edge and the repeated honing of the razor is removing poor steel and revealing good steel. Microscope analysis showed that edge wear was minimal which is exactly what I would expect for one shave. The previous two edges have shown too much wear for one, 2-pass shave.
