I know that most manufacturers came to an agreement to use the Tesla standard but I wonder what would happen if Transport Canada and the EU decided to adopt a different standard, I think fElon would be pissed...

The EU already has a standard that Tesla uses. Its CCS2

The standard we had in North America CCS1 was different and inferior to Tesla's, so Teslas eventually became an official standard, which is now out of their hands.

There's no purpose to make a new standard now. Everyone is on board with SAE j3400 in NA. It's not Teslas now, it's in the hands of the SAE
