Links must be to the original source, not an aggregator like Google Amp, MSN, or Yahoo.

Example:

  1. Articles must be relevant to politics. Links must be to quality and original content. Articles should be worth reading. Clickbait, stub articles, and rehosted or stolen content are not allowed. Check your source for Reliability and Bias here.
  2. Be civil, No violations of TOS. It’s OK to say the subject of an article is behaving like a (pejorative, pejorative). It’s NOT OK to say another USER is (pejorative). Strong language is fine, just not directed at other members. Engage in good-faith and with respect! This includes accusing another user of being a bot or paid actor. 3. No memes, trolling, or low-effort comments. Reposts, misinformation, off-topic, trolling, or offensive. Similarly, if you see posts along these lines, do not engage. Going forward, slapfights will result in removed comments and temp bans to cool off.
  4. Vote based on comment quality, not agreement. This community aims to foster discussion; please reward people for putting effort into articulating their viewpoint, even if you disagree with it.
  5. No hate speech, slurs, celebrating death, advocating violence, or abusive language. This will result in a ban. Usernames containing racist, or inappropriate slurs will be banned without warning

All posts and comments will be reviewed on a case-by-case basis. This means that some content that violates the rules may be allowed, while other content that does not violate the rules may be removed. The moderators retain the right to remove any content and ban users.

That's all the rules!

Summary

Donald Trump threatened to send American citizens convicted of vandalizing Tesla vehicles to El Salvador’s infamous Terrorism Confinement Center, labeling the vandals as "sick terrorist thugs" deserving 20-year sentences.

This statement followed a major vandalism incident in Ontario, Canada, where around 80 Tesla cars were damaged.

Trump’s comments coincide with controversy over his use of the 1798 Alien Enemies Act to deport migrants, halted by a court order.

The White House defended the deportation despite legal challenges, denying any violation of the court’s injunction.

You are missing the point that there are no rules or laws anymore. Legally, there is lots he cant do, but he keeps doing them anyway, because in his mind, legal is anything he gets away with. SCOTUS gave him immunity, and he intends to abuse and exploit it as much as he possibly can.

Until a US Citizen gets deported I'll sit. I've been bombarded with people here saying it's already happened, but no one can provide me with evidence. You're all just fear mongering and that's ridiculous. That's the psychotic BS MAGA and conservatives do. All I'm seeing is leftists here doing the same and it's pitiful.

Ive heard a lot MAGAs defending themselves against charges of being Nazis by saying that there haven't been concentration camps and round-ups of citizens, etc.

Do we really have to wait until they are arresting people exercising their free speech and sending them to concentration camps? Do we really have to wait until we see black smoke belching from prison incinerators, and catch the smell of roasting meat?

If we can see that we are already on that path, if those in charge are making all the moves to prepare for those outcomes by building camps (30,000 bed facility in Gitmo) or sending their current scapegoat victims to black sites in fascist countries without due process, or threatening to charge citizens who are exercising their free speech rights with terrorism, or ignoring judicial orders by saying "We dont care what the judges say," etc., shouldn't we do EVERYTHING possible to stop it now, BEFORE they ramp up the wholesale killing machines? Do we really have to let them actually murder millions of innocent people before we finally say "Gee, maybe they are Nazis. Why didn't somebody do something about this a long time ago?"

Yes we do have to wait, because anything done before that will land you in jail. After they break society we can hunt them down like the animals they are.
