The effective number of parties in Canada is currently 2.76 and declining - a trend that threatens democratic diversity. Unless we implement proportional representation, we're likely heading toward a two-party system that will further constrain political discourse and representation.
Only Green🟢/NDP🟧 consistently support proportional representation.
I appreciate that this, and the 2 or 3 other copy/paste messages you drop into seemingly every mildly political or media related post, and that it's really important to spread the word about these things.
It also kind of feels like spam. It would be nice if you took the time to write up something about the post you drop these in, and paste these at the bottom. Seems like you see a headline that these (valid and important) PSA copypastas might be even tangentially related or important to, drop off your pasta and then move on.
Again, your copypastas are important for people to know about, they're worth repeating so people are aware. The message could be better served by starting a conversation about it, and how it relates to the post... that's all I'm saying....
