I'll never see the appeal of a virtual TCG, like you can't sell it if you want, so what's the point getting the rare cards. It's no different then downloading a fake copy and putting it in a deck.

Back in the Pokemon TCG for Gameboy days, it was all about the joy of ~~catching~~ collecting 'em all, and building your custom decks to battle with. Things didn't have to be monetizable to be fun back then.

yea, collecting was fun, but after the collecting stage, it was nice to have something to "sell" (OK let's be real they sat around until someone else dealt with them at your protest)
