If there is peace, Zelenskyy himself has said he wants an election.

One hell of a state of exception they've got there. Can't imagine why anyone in power would want it to drag on indefinitely.

It’s common sense really. It’s impossible to have a fair election when you’re at war. A good portion of voting age men are on the front lines. Way too many opportunities for an external force to affect the results

How many elections has the US held during war time? Hell Lincoln won his second term before the Civil War was over.
