Enough with the executive orders. Jesus. Is this a national emergency too??

executive orders are better than laws since executive orders have no weight and are easily undone next administration.

They are also very commonly used by most modern presidents, but most of them haven't had much attention brought to them, while Trump's basically all have. Mostly because they're pretty much all stupid and/or controversial.

And that most of them exceed the authority of the President and Executive Branch. See climate change related EO.

There is no next administration.

They're massively performative and make the plebs and cretins who think politics is WWF theater feel like things are happening. They can be hugely destructive and cause massive repercussions, but they're not as long-reaching and permanent as actual policies and bills being passed through house and senate.

To Trump, not having every person's attention only focused on him at all times is a national emergency.

It makes him feel like the big boss, without any rules or opposition.

I think it's an extreme case of attention seeking.

Remember when Obama used a few executive orders and the Republicans accused him of trying to be a king?

He wants everyone to know that he did it
