I just happened to pass through the neighborhood and ate there for the first time last week because 1) Great reviews, and 2) It was open late.

Amazing food, and at such affordable prices!

I didn't know about the connection to Bertola's in Oakland but I believe it.

Bertola's was so good back in the day, and I'm sad that I missed out on its culinary successor for so many decades...
