took them a bit, but its back yeah. i think they removed the board that the attack was executed threw though
wait, which attack was orchestrated on 4chan?
2 weeks ago a rival image board found an exploit in how one of the boards dealt with pdfs, and somehow used that to leak everything about the mods, the source code for 4chan, and because there were several other vulnerabilities in the code - which hasn't been worked on in years - they couldn't bring it back up because someone could just hack it again. somehow, dispite that its up and running again, no idea how
