Just saw this by chance: Donations and Patrons for Lemmy development surged massively on Liberapay in the last weeks! (lemmynsfw.com)

Don't know what the exact cause was/is for this big surge - but I am glad to see it. No matter what personal problems people may have with the main devs, they are doing great work on the platform.

They openly allow calls for the death of all americans while banning anyone who critizises the people calling for genocide.
