Younger people always seem to transition better and I can only assume it's because of the early gender affirming care which is why that needs to be an available option for everyone. It's hard and expensive to undo the changes puberty causes and poor people still deserve to feel as comfortable as they can in their own skin. I'm cool with my yearly taxes going up a few dollars if it means more trans people can be happier with themselves.
