She never meowed for attention. Never rubbed against me when I cried. But that time I couldn’t get out of bed, she came. No sound. Just curled up like she was saying, “You don’t have to say anything.”

Some love doesn’t wave flags. Doesn’t shout. It just stays. And sometimes, that’s exactly what you miss the most when it’s gone.
