Netflix cancelling 1899 after one season.
I'm afraid I can see why that happened. It was very expensive and had insane user drop-off.
Is that the absolutely terrible boat show?
Empty characters. Nothing makes sense. Absolute waste of time. I wish Netflix paid a fine for all that wasted time into such disgusting "mistery" cashgrab.
This isn’t exactly related, but are you a QAA fan or does boat show actually mean something? I’ve tried looking it up, but I’ve never found it anywhere other than on a few episodes of that podcast.

To be fair, I wouldn't call anything like that a cashgrab.
That stuff is expensive and risky.
I ment it as a cashgrab from the creative team. They came from DARK, which was a success, and Netflix begged them to make something new, and they basically took the money and made the wackiest shit to get rich easy.
