The critical bit is now maintaining that level of engagement. People keep missing that bit from the original commentary. It said that no protest with 3.5% of the population consistently engaged had failed. A one off event will do very little, constant presure will yield results.
Agree 100%. The one thing that continues to concern me is that there is no one thing uniting the demonstrations. That 3.5% are engaged for so many different reasons. I have to believe that at some point we must focus our displeasure - protest against Congress for abdicating their duties, protest for a balanced budget, protest for a constitutional amendment to direct a balanced budget. We need one thing to latch on to, one thing we can sink our teeth into and hold on tight.
