Iran has been bankrolling Hamas and Hezbollah. Not sure that counts as polite. They've avoided direct conflict with Israel, but that's not out of politeness it's because Israel has nukes and the idf behaves like a honey badger on meth.
Iran is pretty based for bankrolling the resistance (don't forget Ansarallah), true, but thats not just out of the goodness of their hearts, but because Pissrael and Seppoland repeatedly threaten Iran.
Weird how you side with the Iranian regime when every Iranian I've met wants to piss on the ayatollah's grave.
I side with Iran on this one issue, the opposition to the genocide of the palestinian people yes.
