Good news: a portable version of the LEGO Island decomp just came out, meaning ports to other OSes or devices are now possible.

Hell, there's even a browser port now, available at https://isle.pizza/. If you wanna learn more about the decomp, check out the video I linked.

Totally cool.

There's so many old games I want to decomp and/or make more runnable on modern systems and/or make moddable.

I've never gotten very far due to lacking the skillset. It can be intimidating starting with nothing but some ancient 32-bit (or heaven forbid 16-bit) windows executable and zero documentation.

But maybe I should try again.

Honestly 16 bit would be easier because there would just be so much less code.
