Brainwash is real. However, I am disappointed that you completely ignored the "insofar" limitation to my statement.

Tbf I've never heard anybody say nor seen anyone type "insofar" in my life so I assume he or she just didn't recognize the word; also you could have just as easily typed "so far".

"So far" has a different meaning and is incorrect here. "insofar" is the correct word, meaning "to the extent"
