possibly your client gets confused because its a mastodon, not lemmy, account? i was able to look him up just fine on his instance (but i wish i hadn't).
Ah thanks, I had missed that! I hadn't slept yet at the time so didn't even notice their instance. Also don't think I've ever tried to look at a mastodon instance. Which Lemmy client do you use? I feel like mine hasn't updated for a while now that I think about it
i'm using thunder. it's a fairly old version as well, but it works.
